The Unspoken Itch

An itch you don’t bring up at dinner. But you’re definitely not alone.

Anal itching is one of those intimate concerns many women live with in silence — even though it’s very common, and there is help.

Here’s what often makes a difference:

  1. Cleanse properly — but gently
Harsh surfactants (hello, SLS) can irritate and dry out the skin. Choose a mild wash instead, like Wash for Men.

  2. Be kind with toilet paper
Soft, non-irritating paper matters more than you think.

  3. Support the skin barrier
Itching is often linked to dryness and tiny cracks. And let’s be honest — if the skin is cracked, even tiny traces of poop can irritate it. No wonder it itches.
After cleansing, apply a thin layer of Lip Balm to calm, protect, and support an intact skin barrier.

  4. If it might be yeast
Apply Cleansing + Moisturising Oil Sea Buckthorn + Fragonia to help soothe and support the skin.

And if symptoms are intense, persistent, or worsening — seek medical advice. Always.

Prevention is key.
And so is talking about it. 🤍
